Only upload photographs you own or are authorized to process. Do not use Photo Restorer to process material in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

AI restoration is interpretive

Photo Restorer is designed to restore visible damage while preserving identity and historical character, but AI output is not a guaranteed reconstruction of historical truth. Fine details can be estimated when the source image no longer contains enough information.

Free preview

An eligible user can receive one clean, reduced-resolution restoration preview before purchasing. The preview is limited to a maximum long edge of about 900 px and is intended for evaluating the restoration rather than archival use. The free preview is a trial entitlement, not a transferable credit. Photo Restorer may apply rate limits, Turnstile or email verification to repeated free-preview requests.

Restoration Credits

Purchased restorations form a reusable Wallet balance. One restoration is consumed only when a photo is successfully delivered for the first time. Included technical retries and one eligible adjusted version do not consume another restoration. Unused restorations are valid for 12 months from the latest successful purchase.

Wallet recovery

The checkout email is used as the Wallet recovery identity. New devices normally restore access with a short-lived email code. A separate Recovery Key is a backup credential and should be kept private. Changing the recovery email requires verification of the new address.

Failed restorations

If a technical failure remains after included retries, the reserved restoration returns to the available balance rather than being consumed. Monetary refund requests are handled under the refund policy.

Access links

Photo sets can be reopened with an access link. Anyone who obtains a valid access link may be able to view those photos, so keep it private.

Temporary photo availability

Photo set assets are designed to expire after 30 days. Wallet balance and purchase records have a separate lifecycle. Download results you want to keep before the photo-delivery period ends.
