PHOTO RESTORER · ABOUT THE SERVICE
Keep the memory.
Understand the restoration.
Photo Restorer is the online AI photo restoration service at photorestorer.org. It creates restored digital versions of old, damaged and faded photographs while keeping the uploaded original separate.
What does Photo Restorer do?
Upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP photograph, review a restored preview, and compare it with the original. Restoration can address fading, surface scratches, missing areas and softness. Black-and-white and sepia character are preserved by default; colorization is optional.
What are the limits of AI restoration?
AI can estimate detail that the source no longer contains. A clearer face or added color is not proof of historical accuracy. Compare the versions before saving, keep your original scan, and use Adjust result when an eligible photo needs an adjusted version.
How is the service paid for?
One eligible reduced-resolution preview is available without an account. Full-resolution saves and additional restorations use paid restoration credits. There is no subscription. See current pricing and the refund policy.
Who provides the service information?
Photo Restorer publishes and maintains the product information on this site. These pages describe the service; they do not claim independent archival certification or guaranteed historical reconstruction.
Where can I ask a question?
Use our contact page for restoration, payment or refund questions. Support and refund requests are reviewed manually. Photo sets are normally scheduled for removal after 30 days; see privacy and processing details.
